Why would a cop sit on a toiliet with his legs gapped open? How did he know the signs for gay sex?
shawnLacey asked:
I am tall, and I cannot sit on a toilet with my legs in an eighty degree angle. It would cause anyone to lose his/her posture. The Senator Craig thing is not what it seems; someone needs to ask the cop a few questions. Since it is impossible for another to play footsy unless your foot was all the way over, why was it near the side wall of the stall? Since you did not say that he motioned you with his finger or did anything else, how do you know that touching the bottom of the stall means sex? Undercover cops hear of men having sex in restroom go to bust them. They go in and wait to be advanced upon, right?
There are too many unanswered questions that I would love to hear answered. I really believe that the cop was gay for many reasons. My friend was a cop in Chicago, and he told me that there are many gay cops. Some work on the hate-crime task force and others for catching gays. Go figure!!

I didn’t know that there was a certain width one must keep between their legs while dropping a stink pickle. I guess I better keep a measuring tape handy the next time I sit on the pot. I wouldn’t want anyone eyeballing my leg gappage and spreading the word I’m gay if I go over the gaydar limit! GOD FORBID!

What does it matter if the cop was gay?
He did catch a gay guy!, no doubt about it.
“Undercover cops hear of men having sex in restroom go to bust them. They go in and wait to be advanced upon, right?”
right
Men should not have sex in a restroom, they should get a room.
What’s your point exactly??

Senator Craig is gay! Are you blind and deaf? I don’t know what the signs are but there are signals gay men use for sex in restrooms. You don’t just accidentally use them. Come on people!

OK, let’s start with the (few) true things in your “question.”
1. There are some LGBT police officers.
2. Undercover police arrest men who solicit them for sex.
Obviously the policeman was there because there have been reports of criminal behavior in that location. He may have set up the right conditions to be solicited – which only consists of being in the stall – but Craig (or others) have to initiate the contact; otherwise it is ‘entrapment.’ That is exactly what Craig did, by foot touching and hand signals. Busted!!
The orientation of the policeman has absolutely no bearing on the case.
Here’s another question for you – if Craig “didn’t know” that he was signaling for gay sex, when he was caught, why didn’t he say, “What are you talking about? What’s going on?” instead of “Nooooooo!!!” He knew EXACTLY what he was doing.
Also, the orientation of Craig, to me, also has no bearing on the case. I don’t care if he is gay or not.
Craig obviously solicited gay sex. Both gay and straight men have gay sex. Doing so in a public place is a crime. Period.

i heard about that. it was all over the place but it was such a minor thing you know compared to like all the deaths that happened this summer and stuff. which was…very strange…
