If a gay guy refuses to have gay sex cuz he finds it disgusting is he really gay?

i know this guy that recently decided he was gay. but he refuses to have gay sex because he finds it disgusting and says he would never participate in it. does that really make him gay? or does it just mean he thinks guys are hot? he still finds girls hot but says he is gay. not bi. and if someone asks him if ten years from now he sees himself with a guy or girl he says he doesn’t know.

If he has classified himself as gay, then its not really up for discussion! Anyway I know gay men who will not participate in anal sex, but still participate in other forms of sexual activity with other men! This does not mean they are any less gay then others! Its all a matter of personal preference!

I don’t think people have to like sex to be gay, straight, or anything else. I’m “bi” and I don’t think any type of sex looks appealing.

more than anything… hes confused! he doesnt know what he wants, he may be attracted to the love and connection he may feel with a dude (although despising gay sex) and he might not have that connection with females!

well if hes sexually attracted to them and wants to be in a relationship with one hes still gay.. maybe the thought of sex sounds too much for him. even if a person is gay they can still find ppl of the opposite gender hot, its just recognisign who is and isnt atractive, its just that they dont wanna have sex with them or anything

Me, I’m bi, and that for me means being able to make a connection both emotionally and physically.

I smell an impostor! Sounds like a phase thing and he’s just experimenting with the idea. Nothing wrong with that, as long as he doesn’t end up hurting anyone.
And not saying that gay people can’t be celibate either, but trust me, it’s RARE. What kind of gay can’t resist a guy with long bulging arms, chisled abs and jaw, killer smile, eyes to get lost in and thighs that could crack walnuts?

sex is such a broad term, and the variety is immense…..just because someone doesn’t enjoy one aspect of it who are we to question how he identifies himself.

Its odd , but some straits find sex gross too . Our society uses sex to sell cars , but also gives anti sex messages . the result is many people with mixed up notions about sex .
